i'm giving you a 5, because it's a good game, but there are some major issues that pissed me of, so consider this when you make your first game (i won't insult you, this is a constructive critic, ok?)
1.- the physics: as schnautz said, you should not be able to double jump if you don't want to.
2- the graphics: altough cool, there is room for improvement.
3.- the music: now here's the real deal, the music is slow and dull, you need better music, something alive, something like the original megamn soundtrack.
4.- the difficulty: even tough the difficulty in the game is fine, the bolts-coils, thingies are quite hard to get past, you should give the at least one more second to pass trough.
oh, and BTW, it needs an attack to defeat enemies.
otherwise, the game is great, keep up the good work.
